Desired Start Date: Full-time starting July/Aug 2022
Desired End Date: 1-year commitment through July 2023, with the option to continue thereafter
Location: New York, NY 10019

Position Description:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to become a part of our clinical team. The company focuses on Precision Medicine for Age Management with a proactive, preventive approach to treating each of our members using artificial intelligence powered by our medical expertise and longitudinal health data. The healthcare model is based on the founder’s cutting-edge practice which resulted from decades of her experience in research, endocrinology, and different fields of medicine within healthcare. With GROQ Health, each member begins with an evaluation and follows with an exclusive medical program, based on a detailed analysis of comprehensive laboratory testing, lifestyle, past medical and family history. The members receive virtual care powered by mobile health technology and artificial intelligence. As such, the candidate will not be facing members directly. 
We believe in an interdisciplinary team and will want you to be involved in, and understand, the greater function of the company. The candidate will be trained in the multifaceted details of our individualized model. It is essential that each candidate is able to multi-task and communicate in a fast-moving multi-disciplinary environment, has a high level of organizational skill, and pays attention to details. Rooted in all these qualities, we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and hone the skills necessary to be an excellent physician-scientist. Interest in clinical data optimization, research, and development is a must as the candidate would be working closely with clinical and computer scientists on developing state-of-the-art artificial intelligence for preventative precision healthcare. 

Qualifications:
We are looking for students who will be applying for entry to Medical School in the fall of 2023 or later, and are seeking clinical research experience during their application year. Applicants must be available to work full-time for one year, starting in July/Aug. 

Responsibilities:
Clinical support:

  • Data optimization: structuring historic data, written correspondence including medical reports and follow-up patient letters, medical transcription, data entry, data labeling, error analysis.
  • Staying up-to-date with latest research in the field
  • Participating in clinical meetings
  • Documenting research and development procedures and findings.

Skills:
  • Have basic knowledge of MS excel and Google spreadsheets
  • Be a fast learner 
  • Good clinical intuition
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multi-disciplinary work environment
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-moving and demanding environment and take initiative as needed
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
