Investment Communication Associate
Harding Loevner is seeking a highly organized, intellectually curious professional for the role of Investment Communication Associate. As a member of our Investment Communication team, the Associate will be a key contributor to the firm’s communications efforts to various external and internal audiences, including institutional clients, fund shareholders, consultants, prospects, the media and our client management and business development teams. The role will involve frequent cross-departmental interactions and coordination to ensure the creation of high-quality, innovative, and timely materials. The Investment Communication Associate role will interest candidates who appreciate an environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating independently while also contributing to the broader team.
Responsibilities and learning opportunities include:
• Demonstrate project management skills while advancing multiple projects simultaneously to contribute to the firm’s ongoing communication initiatives
• Contribute to quarterly reporting initiatives, including production of quarterly webcasts, presentation materials, and talking points for our investment portfolios
• Participate in the ongoing roll-out of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint systems for the Investment Communication department
• Become an expert in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to ensure consistent and accurate recordkeeping for relevant client meetings and business development initiatives
• Develop and maintain tools and reports within our CRM database to allow for improved reporting and access to data that is used by the Investment Communication team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with interest in the investment industry
• Up to 3 years of professional experience
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in using Microsoft Teams
