About our team
Our Investment Banking (‘IB’) group provides a variety of advisory and capital-raising solutions to corporations, financial institutions, private equity, governments and public-sector organizations around the world. Collaborating across geographies, industries and products, we provide comprehensive and innovative financing, advisory and risk solutions to our clients. With our long and proven track record of building financial markets in Asia coupled with deep experience in growth markets, we are in a unique position to deliver the fastest growing region to issuers and borrowers alike.

About the Program
Being part of our 2 year Graduate program, you will be placed in the IBD group and will have opportunities to work on a number of projects across different industries.

You get to decide where you want to specialize in, the Corporate Finance Group or the Client Financing & Solutions Group.

Corporate Finance Group (Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Sponsors) is organized by industries and provides advice on the full range of strategic transactions, including mergers, sell-side and buy-side advisories, leveraged buy-outs, joint ventures and other restructurings.

Client Financing & Solutions team integrates our product capabilities through:

Equity Capital Markets originates, structures and executes worldwide equity-related financing solutions for Nomura's global clients. Products include public and private equity offerings such as IPOs, placements, block trades, rights issues, as well as equity-linked solutions such as convertible bonds and derivative solutions.

Debt Origination originates, structures, underwrites and syndicates debt financings for corporate and sovereign clients. Products include loans, bonds and structured debt solutions for investment grade or high yield issuers in G3 or local currencies. The team specializes in financings for corporate merger & acquisition transactions and for leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.

Risk Solutions assists clients on risk/reward analysis and management solutions, across fixed income asset classes, including interest rate, currency, credit, commodity and inflation, covering both event driven scenarios, e.g., merger & acquisition, financing, as well as on-going management, e.g., capital structure optimization, asset/liability portfolio rebalancing.

About You
