Meeting Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to children and families in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, is seeking a motivated team player to serve as the Physical Therapists Assistant for Early Intervention. As the Early Intervention Physical Therapists Assistant you will assists registered/licensed physical therapist by providing information for the evaluation of functional capabilities of clients on assigned caseload. You will implement individual treatment programs addressing specific IFSP goals with measurable outcomes under the guidance and direction of a registered/licensed physical therapist. You will maintain written documentation for treatment provided and communication with families in a professional, compliant and timely manner. You will participate actively, cooperatively and constructively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. You will provide instruction and guidance to ensure that the clients’ goals are integrated into a comprehensive program. You will assist in the assessment and fabrication of adaptive equipment used to facilitate and enhance client’s function. You will maintain and order therapeutic equipment and supplies as needed. You will attend IFSP and team meetings as directed.

Requirements
This position requires a minimum of 1 year related experience; familiarity with pediatric populations preferred. An Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant field from APTA approved program. This position requires you have Licensure as a registered Physical Therapist Assistant from the Rhode Island Department of Health. You will also need valid CPR training.
