Pediatric Outpatient Rehab

Meeting Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to children and families in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, is seeking a motivated per diem Speech Language Pathologist for our location in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Meeting Street's Outpatient Rehabilitation program partners with Southcoast Hospitals Group to provide pediatric therapy services to children with various diagnosis, disabilities, and complex medical needs in Southeastern Massachusetts. Our licensed staff evaluates and treats patients in need of physical, occupational and speech therapy services. We provide customized care with access to extensive resources, including a pool, sensory gym, fully accessible playground, and personal equipment. As the Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and provide individual treatment to pediatric clients aged 3-22 with various diagnosis and disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and complex medical needs. You will creatively design treatment plans that are both motivating and developmentally appropriate. Also, continuously assess the daily/weekly change of your clients, understanding that there may be fluctuation in momentum and need for catch-up, and you adjust your approach on the fly accordingly. You will partner with families to develop plans for maximum carry-over, with consideration of the family’s daily routines, dynamics, resources, and ability to extend services into their home. Also, actively, and collaboratively co-treat with a team of cross-disciplinary clinicians, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapist Assistants. 

Requirements

The position requires a Speech Language Pathologist License in the state of Massachusetts. COVID 19 vaccination required.
