ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
SF City Impact is a religious non-profit organization that exists to intervene on behalf of the people in the inner city of San Francisco by fostering a community of united staff to intervene on behalf of the community we serve through resources, education, relationship and meals. SF City Impact is a mission minded organization that strives to embrace our community as a mission field to further deepen our love and relationship with the community through love.
ROLE SUMMARY
The purpose of this role is to host and mobilize short-term missions teams that join SFC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outreach Design
- Supervising the Outreach Design team in planning and carrying out the design of outreaches that meaningfully mobilize missions teams.
- Scheduling
- Planning and distributing Mission Teams weekly schedules.
- Hospitality:
- Planning and carrying out the provision of meals. Directly responsible for providing lunch for Missions Teams.
- Custodial work for all missions sites (136 Taylor, 187 Eddy)
- Planning and carrying out the cleaning and maintenance of facilities occupied and utilized by missions teams.
- Daily walkthrough of Missions housing and meal sites
- Presentation Design
- Designing presentations such as orientations, guest speaking to yield quality results.
- Scheduling worship leaders for all Missions worship needs.
- Orientation Directing
- Supervise the planning of our initial Orientation for an engaging, fun, and informative session.
- Internal Communications
- Managing communication with all SFCI departments to ensure they there is clarity on how they will partner with us to mobilize mission team members
- Outreach Planning
- Supplies are ready in place
- Briefings are prepared
- Meaningful opportunities for Missions Team Members to reach the community are facilitated
- Encouraging and thought provoking debriefs are held
- Supplies are returned to the proper place.
- Extra-Itinerary Activities
- Participating with Missions Teams in activities outside of outreaches such as team bonding time, team outings, etc.
- Sutro Trip
- Carrying out the celebratory Sutro Heights trip for teams at the end of a premier missions trip week.
- Emergency Response
- Correctly and aptly responding to emergency situations such as medical, personal, or departmental emergencies.
- Additional tasks and needs according to the discretion of the Missions Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Agreement with the statement of faith and core values of SF City Impact.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and coordinate events.
- Must pass a fingerprint and background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
SCHEDULE
- Non-Exempt
- Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
- Occasional extended day, weekend, and holiday hours
- All SFCI outreaches
