As an Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for preparation and dose analysis of formulations to support toxicology, pharmacokinetic, and other in-vivo studies. You will also be responsible for laboratory equipment calibrations and verifications, ordering supplies, as well as designing and conducting Pre-formulation characterization of small molecules. Additional duties include planning and performing laboratory experiments, collecting and analyzing data under supervision, maintaining laboratory notebooks, and presenting data in-group, department and various team meetings

Job Qualification

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, (Chemistry preferred) or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job comparable to 0-2 years experience. 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and equipment is desirable.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand and independently apply GMPs and /or GLPs to everyday work with regard to documentation and instrument use
  • Time management and project management skills
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work individually and in a collaborative work environment with a team
