NYC Spring Intern at NYC HQ for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand

As a leading national politician, Senator Gillibrand’s list of former interns is extensive and impressive. Our former interns currently work in a variety of fields across the public and private sectors, from academia to the White House. At our office, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while determining if public service is your desired field. Interns at Senator Gillibrand’s office are an essential part of our work environment and are prepared for exceptional careers in law, politics, or any field they choose. Typical intern duties include supporting staff with constituent outreach and advocacy events, participating in meetings with community leaders and organizations, monitoring daily regional news, and serving as an advocate on behalf of New York City for the Senator.
Interns that wish to work during an academic semester may apply for college credit through their department or college career office depending on their specific institution’s policies. We are more than happy to accommodate any requirements that your respective college or university has for internship credit.
