Business Development Associate
Position Overview:
The Business Development Associate (reporting to the Executive Director, Business Development) will focus on identifying and developing business opportunities in North America.
*This role can be based remotely, East-Coast preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Route qualified opportunities to appropriate Business Development executives for further development and closure
- Exceed weekly prospecting metrics
- Achieve quarterly quotas
- Identify and research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
- Maintain accurate records and log all activities in Salesforce database
- Communicate weekly activities and coordinate sales pipeline with sales leadership
- Generate proposals using endpoint templates
- Participate in various trade shows and conferences
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Inside sales experience preferred
- Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day
- 2 years IVR/IWR or Clinical Trial services related sales experience preferred
- Proven track record of success in Business to Business Software sales
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a sales team environment.
- Organized with methodical approach for prospecting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
