Business Development Associate

Position Overview: 
The Business Development Associate (reporting to the Executive Director, Business Development) will focus on identifying and developing business opportunities in North America.

*This role can be based remotely, East-Coast preferred.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Route qualified opportunities to appropriate Business Development executives for further development and closure
  • Exceed weekly prospecting metrics
  • Achieve quarterly quotas
  • Identify and research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
  • Maintain accurate records and log all activities in Salesforce database
  • Communicate weekly activities and coordinate sales pipeline with sales leadership
  • Generate proposals using endpoint templates
  • Participate in various trade shows and conferences
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
 
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • Inside sales experience preferred
  • Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day
  • 2 years IVR/IWR or Clinical Trial services related sales experience preferred
  • Proven track record of success in Business to Business Software sales
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a sales team environment.
  • Organized with methodical approach for prospecting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
