Social Media Specialist - Nonprofit Mental Health Agency

If you are creative, analytical, and skilled in social media campaigns, join Seneca! We are hiring a Social Media Specialist to oversee Seneca's recruitment-focused social media presence and digital ad campaigns. In this role, you will create engaging content to inspire applicants to join Seneca's work of supporting children and families. You will create digital media campaigns, use data and analytics to inform and improve our strategies, and work closely with the members of our Human Resources Recruitment team to promote Seneca's programs, services, and job openings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Seneca's recruitment-focused social media and engagement strategy with a focus on creative avenues to grow an active online presence
  • Monitor and manage all social media accounts to grow awareness and engagement in the community, leverage potential applicants, and convey Seneca's workplace culture and services in strategic digital media campaigns
  • Communicate regularly with HR leadership team regarding social media posts and present new avenues of engagement
  • Analyze, maintain and monitor web and social media data, including online advertising accounts
  • Provide editorial ownership of online media content to ensure the appropriate messaging of the agency remains consistent
  • Proactively monitor and manage the agency's online presence, including promoting the use of review sites to cultivate a positive reputation of the agency
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to advance development efforts, program needs and agency wide events
  • Collaborate with programs regarding social media and digital communications projects related to their current hiring needs
  • Create and execute online engagement and ad campaigns in support of Seneca's recruitment objectives
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned by the Human Resources leadership team

Qualifications

  • Experience/education requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of applicable work experience OR
  • Associate's degree or equivalent + 2 years of applicable work experience 
  • High school diploma/GED + 3 years of applicable work experience
  • Applicable work experience includes any paid or unpaid experience in an administrative capacity requiring customer service, data entry, ability to prioritize multiple projects within strict deadlines, and/or coordination with multiple departments
  • Strong technical and design skills with proven experience in social media management required
  • Graphic design, video editing, and photo editing skills required
  • Experience administering digital media campaigns through Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. 
  • Experience utilizing Search Engine Optimization and web traffic metrics to create and maintain successful social media campaigns
  • Solid project management skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and broad environment under tight deadlines
  • High level of organizational, analytical, writing and editing skills
  • Clearance of TB test, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster

Schedule

  • Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid work schedule, with some flexibility for remote work
