Registered Behavior Technician

DUTIES:
•Work under the direction of the special education teacher (and principal) within the classroom or with the principal and Pupil Services Director if a multi-school assignment
•Provide positive behavior supports and implement behavior programming to students with severe disabilities
•Provide behavior data support and behavior plan support in therapeutic programs if assigned. 
•Conduct behavior interventions when needed for students who are demonstrating complex behavioral needs. 
•Collect and record behavior data on assigned students
•Collect and provide data for functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
•If needed, model and train instructional assistants in assigned students’ behavior programs
•Complete student progress reports as requested by supervisor

SALARY:  Per Unit C contract 

QUALIFICATIONS:  
•Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
•Experience working with students with severe disabilities 
•Experience working with students in social, emotional, behavioral programs is beneficial but not required.
•Demonstrated successful experience in implementing individualized behavior programs
•Ability to work collaboratively with program based teams
