Recruiter Staffing Specialist

Based in Woonsocket, RI, Community Care Alliance is a non-profit community mental health and human services agency that supports individuals and families in their efforts to meet economic, social and emotional challenges and enhance their well-being.
We are looking for an experienced, highly-motivated Human Resources professional to join our small, collaborative and dedicated HR team. This is a full-time position with great benefits! Must be a self-driven individual who can work independently and as part of a team. Seeking an individual with creative and proven professional recruiting and marketing strategies and experience working with local colleges and universities to coordinate internships and apprenticeships.
The HR Recruiter is an integral part of the HR team and agency as a whole. As the HR Recruiter you will: recruit for all agency positions including posting and renewing all jobs to our recruiting/applicant tracking system, Handshake and various other recruiting, state, school and industry sites; help create recruiting strategies including strong focus on diversity; assist hiring managers in the wording and marketing of their positions; work closely with managers to develop strong partnerships; review and send qualified applicant information to managers on a daily basis; reach out to applicants and candidates directly to assist, answer questions, etc. as needed; seek out and attend career and job fairs as well as develop internal job fairs for the agency.
In addition, the HR recruiter will build strong relationships and collaborate with schools and universities to build an effective talent pipeline via internship and apprenticeship programs; visit schools and work with them to arrange manager visits to speak with students, discuss working in community-based social services, etc.; coordinate and manage internship/apprenticeship programs and act as liaison between schools, managers and interns/apprentices to ensure goals are met for student success; run reports and supply analysis of applicants and recruiting efforts; review, coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation; perform various HR Generalist duties as part of the HR team as required including assisting with reporting, benefits open-enrollment, special projects, etc.
