The firm has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for institutions ranging from start-ups to well-established, world-renowned institutions. Prior to starting the company, Ms. Koszyn was the executive in charge of BAM’s first-ever Department of Education and Humanities. She has spoken around the world about philanthropy and western approaches, from New York City to Seattle, from Boston to Shanghai. Ms. Koszyn has been nominated for the 2021 Crain’s New York Most Powerful Women, Inc’s Female100Founders Award, and is the recipient of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation Award for Services to our Youth. The company has been named Crain’s New York Notable Consultant for four straight years (2018-2021) and Best Woman-Owned Business (2021). The Koszyn & Company staff includes both emerging, young professionals and seasoned fundraising veterans, and provides a large number of opportunities for career education and growth. Since its inception, Koszyn & Company has fully paid their interns for the work they produce.
Our interns have received invaluable training and, in addition to obtaining jobs at our firm, have gone on to work at major non-profit institutions and/or started their own companies, including Columbia University, the Guggenheim, the Brennan Center for Justice, Asia Society, and the U.S. State Department, among other distinguished careers. During the pandemic summers of 2020, 2021, and 2022, the firm hired twenty-four interns, a subset of whom are still working for the company.
Koszyn & Company’s internships are opportunities for a self-starter with a strong interest in the nonprofit field, entrepreneurism, and to gain valuable hands-on experience and professional skills.
