Senior Investment Analyst

The US office of River and Mercantile (located in Waltham, MA) is currently seeking an investment professional, with 5-10 years of experience, to support our consulting, investment advisory, derivatives, and trading efforts. This individual will assist with trading and derivatives operations, present investment results and provide advice to clients, oversee portfolios, conduct investment product research, and complete other ad hoc investment projects.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

·        A Bachelor’s degree

·        Attainment of or pursuing CFA charter and/or a graduate degree such as a Master of Finance or MBA preferred

·        5-10 years of relevant experience

·        Experience providing investment recommendations and results to clients

·        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·        Exceptional problem solving and organizational skills

·        Detail orientation, dependability, and proactive attitude

·        Willingness to work in a team environment Ability to multi-task

·        Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point

·        Familiarity with Advent APX, LineData, Morningstar systems and/or SQL Databases & Reporting is a plus

·        Experience with trading operations and derivatives also a plus
