Enterprise Systems Security Administrator

The Enterprise Systems Security Administrator is responsible for ensuring that role-based authorization is properly developed and maintained in the enterprise systems and ensuring that local segregation of duties issues are addressed and resolved appropriately. Additionally, the individual will support compliance with internal controls, external regulations, and the institution’s overall security administration program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with functional users, database administrators, application developers, and systems administrators to guarantee that enterprise applications meet security standards.
  • Work with key levels of enterprise system functional management to make certain that the design, implementation and maintenance of system security meets organizational information processing requirements.
  • Provide security configuration and support in the areas of user role development, user profiles, workflow, module-level security, and security audits.
  • Lead the analysis, design, and documentation of all functional security access.
  • Analyze security change requests and changes introduced as a result of the development of new or modified user functions.
  • Assist in the resolution of functional access security related production issues.
  • Document procedures and practices to maintain and enforce standards.
  • Develop processes and approval workflow for the on-going administration of user security authorization and access control management.
  • Assist with the institution’s overall information security administration and privacy program in areas such as identity access management, cybersecurity awareness education, data privacy, and risk management and mitigation.
  • Work on special projects identified by management to improve internal controls.
  • Provide support for security breaches, policy violations or relevant security issues that need to be addressed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with security processes and best practices for ERP systems such as PeopleSoft and/or cloud-based enterprise systems preferred.
  • Understanding of segregation of duties principles and the risks and compliance issues associated with enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of IAM, information security, and data privacy trends and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with consultative skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
