Business Analyst/Quality Assurance - ISS

· Elicit and document business requirements, business processes and workflows, and user requirements

· Work closely with users and development staff to ensure requirements are correctly documented and properly understood

· Conduct gap analysis to identify differences between current and to-be states for laboratory processes and workflows

· Analyze and document user requests

· Perform regression, QA, and User testing in our Laboratory Information Management system (LIMS) and our web applications

· Develop and maintain user and system documentation

· Organize and coordinate user testing and production upgrades

Minimum Qualifications· Experience developing test plans, use cases, and performing quality assurance, validation, user acceptance testing, and regression testing

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

· Experience in system development and requirement gathering

· Experience documenting workflow and business processes

· Documented problem solving, analytical skills, and troubleshooting capabilities

· Experience in the development of training materials and conducting user training

· Degree from an accredited college or university with major study in biology, chemistry, forensics, Public Health Informatics or a related field; or combination of education, training, and experience

Preferred Qualifications· Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems-including laboratory workflows and practices

· Ability to manage small to moderate scope projects

· Experience with developing or interpreting file specifications and data mapping techniques

· Knowledge of public health data exchange standards and terminologies, HL7

· Laboratory work experience

· Previous experience as a Business or Quality Assurance Analyst
