Research Tech II - New Lab Dr. Warren- Hematopoiesis Research

The Warren laboratory is seeking a research technician for a minimum 2-year commitment beginning September 6, 2022. Our laboratory studies hematopoiesis, and seeks to understand disease states in which the formation of blood cells is adversely affected. We have a particular interested in understanding the pathophysiology of severe congenital neutropenia and other bone marrow failure, disease states that make it difficult to fight infections and also lead to an increased risk for leukemia, a type of blood cancer. An ideal candidate in this position will be highly motivated, self-directed, and value working with a diverse team. Minimum degree and field of knowledge: B.S./B.A. in biology, cell biology, molecular biology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recommended research experience: 1 year or more. Prior experience with tissue culture, molecular biology, and small animals is preferred.
