Reporting to the Director of Health Plan Operations, the Health Plan Analyst's responsibility will be to research and evaluate health plan information from different sources to identify trends and business insights that are critical to Neighborhood PACE. The health plan analyst will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiency, enhance reporting and build tools that will assist Neighborhood PACE in evaluating clinical and financial data.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required in health information systems, business, Math or Finance or health care administrative related field; Master’s degree in business, public health or health administration preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
o Background in Medicare Advantage, PACE, or other Health Insurance
o Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills
o The ability to work both as a team and independently
o Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
o Technological and computer knowledge
o Advanced Excel and Access skills and Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
o Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
o Intermediate to Advanced SQL knowledge
o Familiarity with Epic preferred
