Dangermond Preserve Infrastructure Manager

Recruitment: Infrastructure Manager, Jack and Laura Dangermond Preserve
The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a global conservation organization dedicated to conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends. Guided by science, our teams create innovative, on-the-ground solutions to our world's toughest challenges so that nature and people can thrive together. The Jack and Laura Dangermond Preserve is a 24,364-acre property  that includes some of the last wild coast habitats and important indigenous cultural places and resources in southern California. This amazing preserve is the nexus of four important ecoregions, bordered by the Pt Conception State Marine Protected Area to the south, home to threatened and endanger species, and of great cultural and conservation value. The preserve supports and works in concert with the Pt. Conception Institute to conserve natural and cultural resources through education and world-class science that uses cutting-edge technology to advance conservation globally.
The Infrastructure Manager is a critical member of the team as our conservation, education, science, and technology goals depend on the creative and thoughtful development and maintenance of infrastructure. The position is a unique opportunity to support the integration of conservation of natural and cultural resources, education, science, and technology. Currently, the focus of the position is overseeing the planning and renovation of structures and expanding the technological infrastructure. The Infrastructure Manager is directly supported by the Director of Preserve and works closely with the visitation, development, stewardship, and restoration teams. The position will require onsite work at the Preserve with the option for some remote work. Join the team and work at one of the most specular coastal locations in the world!
