Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Data Analyst Associate

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Data Management and Insight
• With an emphasis toward connecting DE&I -related KPIs to specific data, data sources and data integrity:
• Identifies and uses available tools to collect, manage and interpret data. Uses statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.
• Identifies and removes corrupted data and repairs any related coding errors and/or related problems
• Develops and maintains databases, and data systems dealing specifically with DE&I data needs. Identifies achievable outcomes as well as any limitations.
• Works closely with the DE&I Director to develop the full scope of DE&I metrics, measurement, and analysis to influence and drive organizational decisions.
• Works with Director of DE&I to assist with establishing processes and identify process improvement opportunities for data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborates with the Affinity Relations Specialist to develop data management goals and processes and assist in the identification of appropriate sources of data for metrics related to Employee Resource Groups and the TRS Employee DE&I Council.
• Uses a DE&I framework to analyze local, national, and global trends that impact both TRS and the public and financial services sectors. Applies relevant comparisons and benchmarks to TRS.
• Collaborates with Organizational Excellence (OE), Strategic Initiatives, IMD Talent Management, IT and other teams to develop and share relevant and accurate insights for shared DE&I initiatives and programs based on DE&I data management best practices.
Data Visualization
• Prepares reports and presentations for management stating trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data.
• Organizes data in a simple, readable format.
• Utilizes best available visualization tools. Establishes a template for various reports and updates.
• Works with Communications team to develop appropriate visual materials to convey data analysis insights to various TRS stakeholders.
Fellowship Curriculum
• Participates in trainings and projects related to the TRS Fellowship Program including webinars, quarterly check-ins, classes or other learning activities, book group, projects, and the mentoring program.
• Meets TRS Fellowship Program deadlines and goals for completion of trainings in deliverables in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Required Education
•Master's degree with major coursework in data analysis, data science, computer science, applied math, statistics, economics, or related field completed within the last 12 months from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience
•None.
Required Registration, Certification, or Licensure
•None.
Preferred Qualifications
.•Two (2) years of full-time diversity, equity, inclusion human resources, or related experience.
•One (1) year of full time human capital or organizational behavior data analysis or related experience.
•Advanced knowledge and utilization of various data management tools
•Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft products (Azure, PowerBI, etc.)

• Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with confidential HR and proprietary information.
• Applies basic knowledge to accomplish operational tasks.
• Uses basic problem-solving skills and applies these skills to routine situations.
