Adult Behavioral Health Specialist II (Criminal Justice)

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Adult Behavioral Health Specialist II (Criminal Justice) position.
Adult Behavioral Health Specialist II (Criminal Justice): Under the supervision of the Director of Adult Behavioral Health Programs, assists with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating forensic behavioral health programs and services for Cuyahoga County adults. Serves as liaison to the criminal justice system including Courts, Corrections Planning Board and Office of Reentry. Assists in the planning, development, and sustaining of a recovery-oriented system of care. Performs authorization and utilization functions for community-based adult behavioral health services. Represents the ADAMHS Board through various committee assignments.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in psychology, social services, public health or public administration.
  • Five years’ experience in human services field, with a minimum of three years in community behavioral health services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social services, public health or public administration, with ten years’ experience in human services field, with a minimum of six years in community behavioral health services may be substituted for the Master’s degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior law enforcement or criminal justice experience preferred.

The salary for this position is $65,000.00.
