Case Management Counselor for Behavioral Services
The Case Management Counselor in the Therapeutic Case Management program provides behaviorally focused mental health and case management services to children and families. These services, which are child/family focused and strength-based, are provided in the community and embedded within schools.

Responsibilities
- Provide time-limited behaviorally-focused mental health support services to clients and their families, which include behavior management techniques focused on creating safety and stability in the school and home.
- Maintain a caseload of 3-6 clients, providing on average 2-4 hours of support each week.
- When necessary, participate in treatment reviews, program staff meetings, and IEP meetings.
- Complete treatment plans, functional behavioral assessments, progress notes, monthly reports, termination reports and other required paperwork.
- Complete all required program and agency paperwork promptly utilizing Seneca’s online documentation systems and procedures daily.
- Maintain close communication with all treatment team members.
- Engage the youth and family in connecting to community resources.
- Participate in weekly individual and group supervision as required.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability and willingness to work independently in the office and in the community.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Strong organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and with a diverse population of clients.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License and insurability by Seneca's automobile insurance carrier
- Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other state or federal requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
Nice-to-have:
- Two years of experience in working with children and their families in a variety of mental health settings
- Experience providing crisis assessment, management, and interventions
Schedule
- 8am - 4pm with some evenings
