SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a IT Systems Administrator to join our team to provide hands-on system administration in a lab environment to include web design, network design, maintenance and administration.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with web site certification, server testing, web site application, web site architecture (development, design, testing implementation, testing and system upgrades), script web site application in ASP and PHP, Ethernet Networks design and implementation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- IAT Level II or higher certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security; Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA)+; Global Industrial Cybersecurity Professional (GICSP); Government Security Essentials Certification (GSEC); Security+ Continuing Education (CE); Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP); CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)+CE; Cisco Certified Network Practitioner (CCNP) Security; Certified Information Systems Administrator (CISA); Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or Associate); Certified Enterprise Defender (CED); Certified Incident Handler (CIH).
Additional Requirements:

Preferred Skills & Experience: Website & Database Systems Support (i.e. STAN, SEMCIP, AMPS, KMS, SRF), IT-related Shipboard and Platform
Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technical discipline.
Minimum Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
