Bilingual Social Worker: Child and Family Services

*$2,000 sign-on bonus for new Seneca employees in this position!

Our Wraparound program serves youth who are referred through social service, probation or behavioral health departments. Our Bilingual (Spanish/English) Social Worker work collaboratively with each team providing individual and/or family therapy. Our team is small but is growing by the minute as we are determined to provide therapy to every family that we serve! Services are provided in the community: in families’ homes, group homes, foster homes, schools, etc. If you enjoy working in teams, supporting youth and families, and are bilingual (Spanish/English) this position could be for you!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the clinical lead and work with the treatment team to provide case management and other mental health services as needed in client homes, in schools, in juvenile probation placement and in the community.
  • Provide non-traditional counseling, therapy, and case management services to ensure the successful transition of clients and their families to community based resources.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers.
  • Presentations to community partners as it relates to assigned youth’s treatment progress.
  • Facilitate treatment team meetings which can include youth, family members, community members, Probation Officers and/or Child Welfare Workers.
  • Participate in all treatment reviews, program staff meetings, and IEP meetings when necessary.
  • Assist with planning for transportation arrangements for school, therapy appointments, and court hearings.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and agency-assigned paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
  • Eligible to register with the BBS.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English required! 
  • Own vehicle, California driver’s license and insurance.
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other licensing or certification requirements.
  • Must show proof of Covid-19 fully vaccinated and boosted

Schedule

  • Full time; Monday-Friday

Benefits

  • Starting at $73,000 to $87,000 per year. Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
