Product Analyst Internship Summer 2023

Selected Product Analyst interns will have the opportunity to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment on a leading HBI apparel brand. The successful intern candidate will have the opportunity to learn more about product merchandising and how HanesBrands brings products to market while working with our cross-functional teams (Innerwear, Activewear, or Licensed Sport’s Apparel (LSA) in a project-based internship.
 
The Product Analyst Intern will report to the Product Manager or Assistant Product Manager and will be based in our company headquarters in Winston-Salem, N.C. This role is a key contributor in delivering the Hanes Full Potential plan. The deliverables for this role will focus on collaboration with cross-functional teams to plan and execute merchandise

Responsibilities

Interns will gain experience in the key aspects of merchandising on topics such as:
  • Competitive market analysis
  • New products and line extensions
  • Help Maintain and organize all samples
  • Set mock retail store
  • Assist organize and create system to organize graphic strike off’s
  • Special projects where assigned
Interns will work with cross-functional teams to analyze real business issues and will present findings and strategic recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior, or Graduate Student (during Summer 2023) and currently enrolled in a B.A/B.S. Degree program with emphasis in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a similar related major.
  • Demonstrated a high potential for rapid advancement while possessing a high level of energy, self-confidence and positive interaction skills. 
  • Possess a sense of ownership for their work and the business overall.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and demonstrate good judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must possess strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical skills and conceptual creative ability with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience successfully working on projects and priorities with good time management skills.
Hanesbrands internships may be payrolled through a third party agency.
