The Child and Family Social Worker- Wraparound leads a multi-disciplinary team in supporting children who are referred through social service, probation or mental health departments. The primary goal of our program is to provide children and families with services that will ensure safety, stability, and permanency. Seneca’s clinical practice model integrates attachment theory to build healthy relationships, learning theory to replace negative behaviors with positive ones, and systems theory to address environmental factors. The Social Worker role is to provide an assessment of the client and family’s needs and lead a team of Support Counselors, Permanency Specialists, and Family Partners in providing treatment to support the family toward meeting their goals.

Seneca's Wraparound programs offer family-centered, individualized, culturally relevant, and strength-based support to families with complex and enduring needs. Wraparound works in close partnership with Department of Family and Children Services, Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health, and group homes, providing strengths-based and outcome-oriented alternatives to group care placements for children and youth by drawing upon community and family strengths. Treatment and support services are tailored to address behaviors and meet family needs, even as they change over time.

Seneca supports clinicians towards licensure and beyond. We provide individual and group supervision, regular clinical case conferences, and licensure and renewal courses led by field experts. Expenses such as outside trainings or licensure fees can be mitigated through your clinical training stipend, and you will receive a $4000 salary increase upon getting licensed. Looking to expand your clinical skills even more?
