Title: Operations Quality Engineering Intern
Location(s): Arden Hills, MN or Maple Grove, MN
Duration: May - August 2023 (dates flexible) 
Eligibility Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering at an ABET accredited institution

Your Opportunity:
As an Operations Intern at Boston Scientific, you will…
  • Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, develop, and sustain processes, procedures, tooling and equipment for first in class medical devices
  • Have opportunities to expand your professional network.
  • Grow your skillset through a combination of training, hands-on experience, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team.
  • Get exposure to what it is like working in a Fortune 500 medical device company.
 
Your Impact
  • Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) such as yield improvements, process improvements, and materials cost savings allow Boston Scientific to re-invest the savings into new products to fund company growth
  • Use design for manufacturing principles to develop tooling and equipment for manufacturing lines for new products
  • Create inspections or inspection systems to ensure products meet critical requirements
 
Your Qualifications:
  • Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
