Grant Director, Innovation and Technology Partnerships
Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus is now accepting applications for the Grant Director, Innovation and Technology Partnerships position. The Grant Director is responsible for the planning, organization, management, implementation, continuous review, and analysis of the Miami Tech Works grant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in the development and implementation of the grant
- Cultivates partnerships with industry, academic institutions, community organizations and local governments
- Prepares grant budget reports, in accordance with the College policy and in compliance with requirements and regulations of funding agencies
- Represents the College at various venues to promote programs and develop partnership opportunities
- Serves as a liaison between the College and funding agency and partners
- Directs and manages personnel, budget, facilities, and equipment for grant
- Works closely with External Evaluator to evaluate and monitor grants’ performance and outcomes
- Collaborates with administrators and faculty to ensure grant deliverables
- Provides leadership in the execution of grant-related events and activities, including learning community meetings, workshops, conferences, and trainings
- Analyzes and reports evaluation findings to MDC leadership and makes recommendations for grant development as appropriate
- Prepares grant reports for presentation to MDC leadership and partnering organizations
- Hires, supervises, and evaluates personnel for the program
- Serves on campus and College-wide committees
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field and four (4) years of experience in project management; or bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and eight (8) years of experience in project management.
