Independent Research Assistant – Functional epigenomics, Synthetic chromatin engineering, Cancer biology

A research technician position is available in Dr. Chao Lu’s lab investigating molecular mechanisms of chromatin and epigenetic regulation and its implications for human cancer. This position offers opportunities to lead and collaborate on research projects involving cutting-edge technologies in epigenome analysis, CRISPR-based genome and epigenome engineering and next-generation cancer modeling. The selected candidate will benefit from close mentorship by the PI and lab members, and the vibrant and interactive culture of the Lu lab. We are looking for self-motivated candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and plan to build on this experience to apply for top PhD and MD/PhD programs in 2-3 years.
