2023-2024 CASE Graduate Trainee Program US/Canada

The CASE Graduate Trainee Program US/Canada is a career-launching opportunity for recent grads and postgrads of diverse backgrounds seeking education fundraising positions. It’s a great way to begin a career while getting direct support and training from one of the largest associations for educational advancement professionals.
 
Past CASE Graduate Trainees have been placed in major gifts and annual giving roles at institutions including Oregon State University, Dartmouth, Penn State University, North Carolina State University, Boston University, Ohio University, St. Leo University, and the University of California, Davis.
 
Program Length
50 weeks: July 2023 – June 2024
 
Compensation
Entry-level salary determined by host institution professional development
 
Learn fundraising fundamentals, including:
• prospect research
• building a case for support
• donor cultivation and gift solicitation strategy
•the art of “making the ask”
• donor stewardship
 
CASE Benefits
•Employment as a trainee by a host university on a 50‐week contract*
•Professional advancement training by CASE, including attendance at the Institute for Educational Fundraising, CASE’s signature conference on fundraising, New Professional Bootcamp, and attendance at a District Conference

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must obtain a baccalaureate degree before the first day of the trainee orientation (July 2023) and be interested in entering the education fundraising profession. The trainee cannot currently be a regular full-time employee of the host institution. Must be eligible to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
