We are hiring a recent college graduate to join our team as a Memory Development Engineer. This role will be based in Morrisville, NC. Some travel will be required.

The Memory Development Engineer will work on memory development in Commercial subsystem development team. Working with memory vendors like Micron, Samsung and Hynix, to qualify their new memory product into Lenovo NB/DT/WS product, to make Lenovo PC higher performance, more reliable, safer and drive more innovation. You will also work with CPU vendors like Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and other vendors like Microsoft, motherboard vendors. If you are interested in PC, semiconductor, this is a very good position. You will work in an international team, work with team members in US, Japan and China.

Responsibilities:
·       Responsible for WorkStation or Desktop memory qualification according to the request of Development and Product departments, including preparation of specifications for new memory, supplier design review and memory test
·       Maintain WS or DT memory technical specification and Lenovo qualification specification
·       Responsible for supplier technical evaluation, good communication and cooperation with memory suppliers is required
·       Drive memory innovation, technical FA, manage test lab

Requirements:
·       Bachelor or Master degree of computer, Electronic Engineering is preferred
·       Interested in memory or EE design, PC development, semiconductor design, test and manufacturing process
·       Strong communication skills, fluent oral English. Chinese is preferred
·       Team work attitude
