Solutions Development Program

Overview:

The Solutions Development Program (SDP) was created as a way to provide recent graduates the opportunity to experience multiple technical roles before committing to a team long-term. The SDP offers a more diverse program experience by including four technical teams that are quite different in both the product you would be working with, as well as the nature of the technical work being completed. The participating SDP teams are as follows:

Health Insight Solution Developers will use an assortment of data analysis and visualization tools to develop interactive dashboards, reports, and statistical and text analyses to address a variety of healthcare industry challenges.

Financial Solutions Engineers build solutions to help businesses leverage their data and analytics to serve their customers better.

Sales Engineers combine the skill sets of software engineer, architect, mentor, and entrepreneurial businessperson to drive innovation in healthcare technology with leading health systems, insurers, and healthcare vendors.

Release Engineers build the process, tooling and infrastructure to used in Development and QD, in addition to creating the packaging of deployment of all InterSystems' products to customers.

Program Structure:
The SDP begins with an accelerated onboarding and training program spanning 2 weeks of intensive learning in our Products IRIS, HealthShare and TrakCare. Once training has ended, you will complete two to three 6-week long projects with the teams listed above. Your final team placement will be reliant upon manager/mentor feedback, business needs, and your feedback.
 
Qualifications:
  • This role is intended for recent or soon to be graduates from a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD program
  • Interdisciplinary academic work in Computer Science, Physics, Math, or STEM preferred
  • Proven prior coding experience in any language, including: Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, Python, or similar
  • Demonstrated initiative through academic excellence, extracurricular, or work experiences
  • Technical curiosity
  • Creativity towards complex technical challenges
  • Collaborative team mindset
  • Flexible demeanor in an ever-changing work environment
