Is the Supply Chain Development Program - Manufacturing right for you?
Our Supply Chain Development Program (SCDP) is an accelerated training program for college graduates who have the desire to excel in today’s fast-paced manufacturing environment. We will provide you with exposure to the various facets of Supply Chain within a diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization. Your technical skill set will be enhanced by providing you exposure to experienced professionals and various manufacturing settings.

This program is structured to last 24-36 months and will allow for consistent growth and individual development opportunities. You will complete two distinct roles within one or more plant locations:
Your first rotation will be as a process lead for 12-18 months. You will own reliability improvement for an assigned production line and develop the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control. You can also expect to:
  • Verify the accuracy of the operating equipment efficiency data and work with line leads, maintenance leads and other plant leads to address gaps
  • Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service
  • Develop implementation plans and standards and/or lead the planning and implementation for one or more critical improvement processes
Your second rotation will be a promotion to line lead. You will manage production staff to attain production and quality goals while owning results and loss reduction. You will own personal action plans to drive improvement for the plants. You can also expect to:
  • Identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues
  • Ensure production resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules
  • Assure products meet and/or exceed the requirements specified by our internal and/or external customers, including government regulations
You have the option to participate in a third rotation of your choosing:
  • Plant Supply Chain: Warehousing, Procurement, Planning
  • Quality/Sanitation
  • Engineering (if degree specific)

Do you have what it takes?
  • You will complete your Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related program of study no later than June 2023 (January start dates available for December grads)
  • You desire to be a leader and grow within the Supply Chain function
  • You have the flexibility to relocate
  • You can travel up to 20%
  • You have proven leadership abilities (i.e. collaboration, influencing & problem solving skills)
  • You possess strong financial aptitude (i.e. budget management, cost driver understanding) 

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to talk and hear, and stand and walk. You are occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. You will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.
