React Native Developer

MedRhythms is seeking a React Native Developer to support leading a team focused on building clinical software systems that combine neuroscience, biomechanics, and music technology. Candidates should have direct experience in mobile full-stack development, including developing an application’s algorithms, UI/UX, cloud interfaces, and hardware integrations. Qualified candidates should be a self-motivated, results-driven team member who enjoys collaborating with others.  

Responsibilities


  • Build innovative, high-quality clinical software systems using technologies, such as React Native, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Android.
  • We value an ability to learn and grow together above knowing any particular technology. 
  • Contribute to MedRhythms’ user-centered design process, including working with stroke survivors and other target users to test and refine the product for usability and safety.
  • Work collaboratively in a small, focused product team with other developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to develop the application’s algorithms, UI/UX, cloud interfaces, and hardware integrations in an Agile Scrum framework. 
  • Support continuous improvements to a team’s day-to-day processes and a culture of learning.

  • Experience with building and deploying a mobile app in a production environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience performing code and design reviews
  • Experience building unit tests or other test automation
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging hardware
