Position Overview

MedRhythms is seeking a software quality assurance engineer to support leading testing efforts of clinical software systems that combine neuroscience, biomechanics, and music technology. Candidates should have direct experience in software testing, including evaluating an application’s algorithms, UI/UX, cloud interfaces, and hardware integrations. Qualified candidates should be a self-motivated, results-driven team member who enjoys collaborating with others.  


Responsibilities


  • Evaluate and test innovative, high-quality clinical software systems built in TypeScript, Kotlin, and Python. We value an ability to learn and grow together above knowing any particular technology.
  • Drive test strategy including development regression, UAT, A/B, and ‘ility’ checks.  
  • Lead testing initiatives in a small, focused agile team with cloud engineers, mobile engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Advocate for patients throughout the development process and work with business stakeholders to evaluate the software with patients through interviews, beta testing, or long term evaluations.
  • Support continuous improvements to a team’s day-to-day processes and a culture of learning.

  • A passion for testing, checking, and finding bugs in software applications
  • A collaborative mindset and a desire to work on a team using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP.   
  • Experience leading test programs on teams or projects
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging hardware
