Health Physicist (Installations) (NM, MD)

This position is part of the Army Fellows Program and is a CIVILIAN position with the Department of the Army.

In this role you will implement radiation safety program using basic knowledge of radiation safety regulations and standards. Analyze materials for radioactivity or exposure levels (i.e. radioactive materials, x-rays, lasers, radiofrequency sources) through the use of appropriate instrumentation using well established procedures. Identify common radiation hazards to ensure worker safety and health. Investigate accidents involving the use of ionizing radiation or non-ionizing radiation sources.
