Program Coordinator
Office of Local and Regional Health
Join a diverse team of change-agents as they collaborate with local public health to build and implement programs that promote sharing core public health services to ensure equitable distribution of public health resources across the state
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) seeks to hire a Program Coordinator to assist the Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH). Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, the Program Coordinator supports the work of the policy, planning, and operations unit in ensuring that policies, procedures, training, and technical assistance for cross-jurisdictional sharing are effectively implemented. This position also serves as the primary liaison to Public Health Excellence Grant for Shared Services grantees and collaborates with internal DPH groups working closely with OLRH.
Our ideal candidate has:
· Experience developing and implementing workplans, supporting program development, providing technical assistance, and supporting systems change
· A commitment to working in a dynamic, diverse, and rapidly evolving work environment
· At least 3 years of experience in program management or business administration
· A deep understanding and commitment to diversity, cultural competence, and cultural humility, as well as the social determinants of health related to health equity
