Overview

Under general direction, the Biostatistician will analyze data with statistical methods in protocols, interpret analyses results and write statistical section summaries and reports for pre-clinical, toxicological and epidemiological studies.  The Biostatistician will be responsible for importing and cleaning raw datasets, implementing quality check, merging files and creating analytic datasets for the investigator, as well as programming and statistical analysis and validation in SAS/R based on study protocol and analysis plans. 
 
The candidate will also communicate with clients regarding study protocol or statistical analysis issues as they arise, and communicate with study team members regarding study execution as it relates to timelines, data quality, and interpretation of results.  



Qualifications

Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Public Health or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.
 
Must have a demonstrated familiarity with SAS and R programming as well as strong statistical computing skills.
 
Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. The ability to manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines is required.

Salary

Salary is commensurate with experience.
