Candidates who meet all eligibility requirements within nine months of the application deadline (6/30/2023) will be admitted to this examination. Successful candidates will be placed on the eligible list but may not be hired or promoted until all requirements have been satisfied.

1. EDUCATION: Completion of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university with major course work in dairy or food technology, environmental, agricultural, life or physical science, public health or a bachelor’s degree with 30 semester hours in any combination of the above.

NOTE: Any Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience as a Public Health Sanitarian may substitute for the required coursework.

Sufficient training and/or experience to be able to understand and speak fluently and clearly in English and the designated non-English language.
