Assembly Technician (6 months Intern)
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, part/assembly drawings and other diagrams
- Build mechanical assemblies, electrical harness and pneumatic interconnections
- Accurately and safely build assemblies with guidance from engineers
- Detect part or assembly issues and correct per engineer’s disposition
- Record work and maintains status and traceability of assemblies and parts
- Inspect and maintain tools
- Clean and organize work areas
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required, BS in Engineering preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Ability to use basic measuring tools
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Patience and attention to detail
