Records Coordinator

Responsibility works… as a Records Coordinator!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Records Coordinator in our downtown Pittsburgh Headquarters!

What You’ll Do
As a Records Coordinator, you’ll support Federated Hermes’ Records Management program through the maintenance and operation of onsite and offsite records storage and retrieval systems. 
  • Manage records retrieval requests from offsite storage
  • Perform quality control review of box contents and coordinate shipments of records to offsite storage
  • Interact with vendor for records shipments and deliveries and processing of shred bins
  • Work with business units to resolve records management issues that arise due to changing business needs
  • Assist in analyzing vendor invoices
  • Assist records coordinators in organizing, maintaining and destroying onsite files
  • Act as liaison with technology to maintain, enhance and test changes to the automated “Records Storage Transmittal” application used by all departments; maintain retention periods and other settings in the application
  • Maintain departmental webpage on the intranet, and make updates as needed
  • Provide support to business units with large-scale shredding projects
 
The Expertise We’re Looking For
·      High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
·      Four years of business experience required.
·      Understanding of records retention issues required.
·      Familiarity with investment concepts and fundamental knowledge of mutual funds required.
·      Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
