The Beaverton Manufacturing IT group is seeking a motivated, experienced Programmer Analyst/System Integration intern to provide support to our Manufacturing Automation IT Team located at ADI’s Beaverton campus. The Beaverton Manufacturing IT group supports the Beaverton Manufacturing Wafer Fab organization’s IT needs, including Application Development, System Administration, Data Visualization, and Equipment Automation. The team has 7 team members supporting fab operations and there is a current need for assistance focusing on factory automation at the equipment and systems level. The team works on enterprise level applications and welcomes diversity of thought and self-motivated individuals.Job Description:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.  Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.  Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems.  May provide consultation to users of automated systems. 
Will be responsible for planning, developing, testing and support of Applications in a manufacturing environment - with a focus on factory automation.  Will need to take user requirements and translate them into functional requirements and develop.  Will interface with manufacturing operators and manufacturing engineers.
Minimum qualifications
  • Pursuing BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio .NET VB
  • Windows OS experience
  • Experience using Software APIs
Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of State programming a plus
  • Experience creating software test plans
  • Experience communicating with external devices/software packages
