Youth Outdoors AmeriCorps Members perform natural resource restoration projects with a crew of Twin Cities youth in after-school service projects and environmental education. Corps members lead crews of Twin Cities’ youth participants in innovative environmental education and mentor them through multiple community service projects.
Members develop technical skills throughout their term while completing challenging and impactful conservation projects. Natural resources projects may include:
  • Invasive species management
  • Tree planting.
  • Basic carpentry.
  • Emergency response work.
  • Corporate and community outreach and education.

About Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa: Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa, a nonprofit organization and AmeriCorps grantee, engages hundreds of youth and young adults each year in in meaningful service, leadership development, and environmental stewardship. Our vision is a world in which everyone has equitable access to nature, is equipped to succeed in career and life, and is empowered to make a difference in conserving natural resources.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,710.00 - $1,976.00 per month
