Recreation Leader Generalist - Temporary - Open Until Filled

Recreation Leader- Generalist, Summer Social & Emotional Support Staff: As part of Portland Parks & Recreation, Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) program, the Social and Emotional Support position provides on-site assistance to staff and participants of all ages with physical, developmental, and/or emotional disabilities as they integrate into general recreation programs. This is a temporary limit term position and may include days, and evenings. The locations assigned for this position varies based on regional program needs. 
 
As a Recreation Leader-Generalist, you will:  
  • Providing support to Inclusion Assistance. 
  • Adapting activities. 
  • following inclusion or behavior plans. 
  • Maintaining a safe environment. 
  • Promoting a participant's success in a program.
