The Role

The intern will join Ardian’s Secondaries & Primaries investment team, the leading global player in primary and secondary private equity investing, managing in excess of $81bn. 
Globally, the team has over 100 investment professionals, of which 25 are based in New York. 

The intern will have significant responsibilities from day one and become an integral part of the team. Key responsibilities include supporting the team in investment functions such as financial modeling, valuation analysis of private equity funds and companies, preparation of investment recommendations for Ardian’s global investment committee, as well as various ad hoc reports and projects as needed.

  • Deep understanding of corporate finance principles and how to analyze investment opportunities
  • Strong excel modeling skills
  • Strong writing and memo-drafting skills
  • Organized and motivated
  • Strong analytical mindset

Profile

  • Student at a leading business or engineering school. Recently graduated students can also apply
  • A previous experience in finance – investment banking, strategy consulting, or valuation – is a plus
  • Interest and sound knowledge of corporate finance and Private Equity
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  •  Work authorization in the U.S. is not required but preferable

Since 1999, the multicultural Secondaries & Primaries team composed of 100+ investment professionals has developed an unrivalled network and secured preferential positioning to acquire stakes in high-quality private equity and infrastructure funds from institutional investors. The investment team is based across Paris, London, Frankfurt, Zurich, New York and San Francisco.
