(#R18388) FactSet’s MESH 2 Week Externship – Client Solutions

The FactSet MESH program brings together different ideas, backgrounds and people with a common interest in the Financial Technology (Fintech) industry. We’re looking for talented, hard-working and out-of-the-box thinkers who are interested in learning more about a career in Fintech. The FactSet MESH program provides first or second year college students who have an interest in technology, finance and/or client-service with a hands-on professional development and networking opportunity.

The paid externship is set to run from May 15, 2023 – May 26, 2023 in our Norwalk, CT office. Travel and accommodations will be provided. The application deadline is January 31, 2023.

During this 2-week externship, you will:
  • Complete FactSet’s Finance 101 workshop
  • Participate in professional development workshops focused on effective communication, presentation skills and problem-solving skills
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to take a deep dive into resume writing, mock interviewing, and networking
  • Enhance your collaboration skills through a group project with fellow externs under the guidance of a FactSet mentor
  • Network with diverse FactSet professionals and members of our Black, Latinx, Pride, and Women's employee resource groups
  • Build your networking skills by connecting with FactSetters across various teams
  • Meet members of FactSet’s Executive Team to learn about their different leadership journeys
  • Learn about FactSet’s industry, core products, who our clients are, and various teams within our client-facing organization

Upon successful completion of the program, Externs graduating in May of 2025 will be eligible to receive an offer for our 10-week Client Solutions Internship program held in the summer of 2025. Externs graduating in May of 2026 will be eligible to participate in the FactSet MESH program again in the summer of 2024.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a BS or BA
  • Undergraduates graduating between May 2025 – May 2026 who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx, and/or Native American
  • Interest in learning more about finance and technology
  • Excited about problem solving
  • Ability to work independently while also being a great team-player
  • Positive can-do attitude
