Administrative Assistant

Premier is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Executive Director. The Administrative Assistant will play a key support role and undertake a broad range of tasks as well as provide more detailed support to individual projects and processes.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Provide administrative support
  • Maintain files
  • Schedule meetings
  • Data entry
  • Responsible for mailings, email correspondence and memo dissemination.
  • Manage confidential information
  • Others duties as and when required

Requirements
  • HS/GED required, further education a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Professional presentation.
  • Strong work ethic, commitment, flexibility, and follow-through.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of staff while maintaining flexibility, tact, and a positive attitude
  • Be a team player and a self-starter with strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines, prioritize, and complete assignments with strong follow-through
  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant experience helpful
  • Computer proficiency, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point
  • Excellent communication, telephone, writing, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Flexibility essential
  • Experience in or exposure to the not for profit/human services environment preferred
