Design Assurance Engineering Intern

Title: Design Assurance (DA) Engineering Internship
Location(s): Maple Grove, MN 
Duration: May - August 2023 (dates flexible)
Eligibility Requirements: Ability to work in the United States without restrictions
 
Our Purpose:
Partner with Design Assurance and R&D Engineers and Technicians in the development and verification of Medical Single Use Devices and/or Medical Capital Equipment. This individual will work with high-performance cross-functional development teams to assist in verification of product conformance, design control deliverables, and risk management activities within Peripheral Interventions to ensure delivery of the highest quality product to the customer.

  • Help develop risk-based assessments related to design changes
  • Review of product specifications and design documentation
  • Review design verification and validation documentation
  • Research and develop possible use case / task analysis documentation
 
Your Qualifications:
  • Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Ability and passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
