Program Manager, Research
Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is seeking a highly
organized individual with financial acumen to oversee and
manage many aspects of clinical research including budget
development, progress of research recruitments, and
manpower allocation to join the Internal Medicine
Department. The successful candidate will play an integral
role assisting research investigators with the execution and
oversight of their projects. The Program Manager will work
closely with various clinical research team members. The
position includes a competitive salary and benefits package.
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated enthusiast
with at least a Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant
experience. A Master's degree is preferred. The successful
candidate will be experienced in project management,
ensuring policy compliance, and meeting deadlines for
multiple projects, timelines, and targets. The successful
candidate will be responsible for the operational and
financial needs of clinical research programs, budgets, and
grant reporting. In addition to these technical skills, the
successful candidate must demonstrate excellent
interpersonal skills to enhance interdepartmental
collaboration, establishing relationships within EVMS and
externally.
The Program Manager will prepare reports for EVMS
administrative departments, supervise research
administrative staff, and facilitate positive relations between
staff and physicians to achieve Department outcomes.
