F220204 - Assistant/Associate Professor - Biochemistry

Position Summary:
The Department of Biochemistry is seeking a tenure track faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. We seek candidates who will develop a research program in understanding the molecular basis of disease broadly defined. This includes, but is not limited to, expertise in genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, metabolism, developmental biology, neuroscience, regulation of gene expression, and protein structure/function. Candidates should have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree in a relevant field and have a strong record of research success as demonstrated by an impactful publication record and a clear vision of future work. The hired individual will be expected to maintain an extramurally funded and productive research program, participate in the teaching of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, and contribute to the various administrative responsibilities of the department.
Salary Range: 105,000 – 110,000
